TV spots for baby food shot in Malta

Four TV spots featuring a series of new Nestlè Mio baby products, which have just been shot in Malta for Nestlè Italiana, are due to be aired later on this year.

The commercials shot over the past days were produced by Malta Audiovisual Production Company (MAPC), a company set up in Malta last September by three production houses from Milan with the assistance of Malta Enterprise and the government.

The aim of setting up MAPC was to promote Malta as the ideal location to shoot TV commercials including the benefits enjoyed namely experienced personnel, resources and facilities, proximity to Europe and favorable weather conditions.

The 40 babies featured in the commercials are Maltese.

If I remember well, involving children in commercials was banned in Italy a few years ago - if so I stand to be corrected.
And that would be the reason for the shooting being done in Malta.
