Floriana, B'Kara reach FA Cup semis

Floriana and Birkirkara reached the semi finalsof the FA cup today after disposing of Sliema and Marsaxlokk respectively, each with a 2-1 scoreline.

In the first match, Ettiene Barbara opened the score for the blues within six minutes, but Darmanin equalled for the greens in the 61st minuts and Micallef made it 2-1 for Floriana on the 66th minute.

The second match followed an identical pattern. Marsaxlokk opened the score within the first minute thanks to Carlo Mamo. Birkirkara equalised early in the second half thanks to Sylla and Mifsud Triganza sealed it for Birkirkara with a 70'th minute effort.
