Construction worker succumbs to injuries
A 56 year-old man from Qormi who fell down a shaft during building works in Zabbar on Tuesday has died, the police said .
He fell a height of more than two storeys in a house undergoing renovation and had to be lifted from the site of the accident by members of the Civil Protecton Department.
