Students at St Benedict College Boys' Secondary in Kirkop, displayed their singing, dancing, musical and acting talents at its annual prize-giving ceremony recently held at the Mqabba Primary School through an on-stage medley of songs from the musical 'Jesus Christ Superstar'.

The audience also watched a screening of the video production Ilħna, in which teachers and students from St Benedict College's boys' and girls' secondary schools take part. Scripted by assistant head Ray Muscat and directed by Keith Scicluna, the video blends the poignant episodes of the Passion of Our Lord with the turmoils experienced by youths in today's complex society.

The ceremony was addressed by school head Joseph Micallef, Grace Grima, director general for quality and standards in education, and Frans Borg, permanent secretary at the Education ministry, who also distributed the prizes.
