Prof. Domingos Moreira Cardoso, a Mathematics professor and author from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, will deliver two lectures at the Faculty of Science's Department of Mathematics.

The first lecture - an overview on spectral properties and applications of specific-regular sets -will be held on April 28 at 11 a.m. in the Mathematics and Physics building, room 307.

The second lecture is on posets, matching and partial colouring.

A partial vertex proper coloring of a graph is a mathematical model for the popular Sudoku puzzle, which will be held on April 30 at 2 p.m. in the Mathematics and Physics Department, room 216.
