Fino appoints new chairman

C. Fino and Sons Limited has appointed former Bank of Valletta and National Euro Changeover Committee chairman Joseph F.X. Zahra, to chair its board of directors.

"Mr Zahra's experience will definitely add a cutting edge to our company's vision and will be an asset in our decision-making," managing director Jean Carlo Fino remarked. "C. Fino and Sons Limited thanks outgoing chairman Alfred Mifsud for his eight years' service to the company. His contribution to the organisation was invaluable."

Mr Zahra, who was appointed Fino chairman on March 28, said: "It is a challenge forming part of a dynamic board of directors of a furniture and furnishings company that has always been a leader in innovation and enterprise, and committed to give a quality product and service to its wide array of clients."
