Double Trap shooter William Chetcuti is in Beijing for an ISSF World Cup shoot on Tuesday. He is accompanied by coach Jimmy Bugeja and Malta Shooting Sport Federation head Saviour Portelli.

Chetcuti has been on an intensive training programme lately ahead of the World Cup shoots in Beijing, Munich and Milan, between May and June, the European Championship, in Cyprus in July, and the Olympics in August.

According to the latest edition of ISSF News Magazine, Chetcuti is still the holder of the Double Trap world record for juniors - 146/200.

He achieved that milestone in Cyprus in June, 2004. Chetcuti is also ranked among the top 25 Double Trap shooters in the world.
