FARRUGIA. On April 11, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, FILOMENA née Schembri of Mosta, aged 80, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Carmelo, her daughters Doris and her husband Charles Borg, Carmen and her husband Dr Victor Calvagna, her grandchildren Stephanie, Bernard, Francesca, Rebecca and their fiancés. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Emmanuel Mifsud widower of Antonia, her brother Emmanuel Schembri and his wife Tessie, her sister Agnes Vella widow of Alex, her special friend Christina Scerri, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Zammit Clapp Hospital tomorrow at 3 p.m. for Mosta Rotunda parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Puttinu Cares Children's Cancer Support Group will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the consultant, doctors and nursing staff at St Joseph's Wing, Zammit Clapp Hospital.

PICKARD. On April 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROSE née Taliana, aged 61, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Paul, her daughters Henriette and her husband Kenneth Cassar and Josianne, her grandchildren Michela and Ylenia, her sisters Carmen and her husband Victor Pace, Doris and her husband Alfred Agius, Miriam widow of Alfred Vella, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8 a.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Ursuline Crêche, Sliema, will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at the Infectious Diseases Unit, Mater Dei Hospital.

ZAMMIT. On April 10, at Gozo General Hospital, JOSEPH, aged 84, passed away in peaceful sleep to meet the Risen Lord and his beloved wife Vincenza. He will be deeply missed by his sons Emanuel and his wife Jane of Australia, Paul and his wife Celestina, Victor and his wife Frances, George, Michael and his wife Marthese, and his daughter Miriam and her husband Teddy, grandchildren and other family and friends.
The funeral leaves St Francis Square, Victoria, today at 4.30 p.m. for St George's Basilica where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 5 p.m. No flowers by request but donations to the Arka Foundation, Għajnsielem, Gozo, will be appreciated.
