Gavin Gulia submits nomination for casual election

Eight candidates yesterday submitted their nominations for the casual elections expected to be held by the middle of next week.

The nominations yesterday were by Christopher Agius on the second district for the seat vacated by Michael Falzon; Ivan Vladimir Buttigieg on the third district for the seat vacated by Helena Dalli, Joseph Farrugia on the fifth district for the seat vacated by George Vella; Gavin Gulia on the sixth district for the seat vacated by Charles Mangion; Robert Musumeci on the seventh district for the seat vacated by Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando; Joe Debono Grech on the eighth district for the seat vacated by Alfred Sant; Donald Carmel Felice on the ninth district for the seat vacated by Robert Arrigo and Paul Borg Olivier and Donald Carmel Felice on the 10th district for the seat vacated by Dolores Cristina. A total of 47 candidates have submitted their nomination so far. Nominations close today.
