Updated: SDM sweeps all KSU posts

The new executive of KSU, the University Students' Council, is to be formed completely by members of SDM, the Christian Democratic students.

The KSU general meeting was held on Thursday.

SDM said last week that it would work in the KSU to strengthen the voice of students, not just within the University campus, but society at large.

The new KSU president will be Roberta Avellino.

The other council members are: Vice President: Benjamin Pule; Secretary General: Matthew Agius; Financial Officer: Kristina Borg; Public Relations Officer: Carl Grech; International Officer: Daniela Cassar; International Coordinator: Ivan Scicluna; Education Coordinator (KE): Daniela Bartolo; Social Policy Coordinator (KPS): Dylan Seychell; Culture and Entertainment Officer: Matthew Paris; Culture and Entertainment Officer: Nerissa Pace.

SDM thanked all univeristy students for their backing.

Students duties to their country?

Students do a duty to their country, by studying and becoming professionals, doctors or Researchers furthermore raise the national IQ of the country.

What are you trying to get at?

I wish the KSU good luck. Should be easy for it now to implement its name and witness Christ and democracy. But is SDM there only "to strengthen the voice of students"? How about the students' duties towards their county?
