New postgraduate degrees in ICT

St Martin's Institute of IT, a teaching institution for the University of London in Malta, recently introduced a portfolio of seven postgraduate degrees at a Masters of Science (MSc) level in specialist ICT areas.

All these degrees are conferred by the world renowned University of London and led by specialist faculties from three lead colleges of this university. The postgraduate degrees are MSc Telecommunications with three different pathways, Applications, Internet Computing or Network Pathway, the MSc Wireless Networks, MSc Computer Games and Entertainment, MSc Information Security and an LLM in ICT law.

All degrees are supported by the respective departments, both directly as well as through St Martin's Institute of IT, and include regular visits by the subject specialists from the respective lead departments to carry out day workshops for the students following the MSc programme in Malta.

The masters degrees are open to Maltese students who have a first degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, information systems and related areas and wish to take this opportunity to upgrade their qualifications.

All the seven masters of science degrees are supported under the myPotential scheme with a minimum rebate of 70 per cent of all costs paid as tax rebates after graduation. These degrees are being offered on part-time basis over a duration of three academic years.
