Microsoft Malta launches new software

Microsoft Malta Ltd yesterday launched Microsoft's next wave of innovation software during a one-day seminar titled Heroes Happen Here.

Business decision makers, IT professionals and developers in Malta had the opportunity to experience the Windows Server® 2008 operating system, Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 and Microsoft Visual Studio® 2008, and interact with top international software experts.

Karen Carter, director of marketing, Microsoft US, was the keynote speaker. During her presentation Ms Carter explained the aim of this campaign and how the next generation of Microsoft software will help "IT heroes" in Malta.

Microsoft Malta Ltd also invited four international software experts to the launch. Each gave a presentation and held workshops with the delegates present.
