IoD corporate governance series

Marlene Mizzi will tackle the subject of board effectiveness in her workshop entitled The Essentials of the Effective Board in Malta at Hilton Malta on Saturday, April 19 at 9 a.m. as part of the Four Seasons Series in Director Development hosted by Institute of Directors Malta Branch, supported by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA).

Ms Mizzi's workshop is one of 11 in the Four Seasons Series on how to create and deliver shareholder value through corporate governance. This series hosted almost 200 delegates during its first six sessions. Ms Mizzi is managing director of AMCA Ltd, the owner of four retail outlets and a major British franchise, and chairman of Millennium Insurance Agency. She is currently reading for a PhD and has a Masters from Maastricht. Her doctoral thesis and field of research will focus on corporate governance and effective boards in Malta.
