The Bulgarian property market registered capital growth of 22.7 per cent in the last quarter of 2007. According to Knight Frank's Global Index, Bulgaria is the hottest property investment market, outshining the Baltic States which have fallen drastically in popularity.
Various international property consultants, including Eastern European specialists Redence, quote golf and skiing resorts as being among the most popular locations, especially among the British who seek popular areas such as the mountain regions of Pirin, Rila and Rhodopa, where the ski season lasts from December to May.
