In court over counterfeit money
A 23-year-old woman from Ħamrun was yesterday charged with possessing counterfeit €50 notes.
Magistrate Doreen Clarke heard Marquita Agius plead not guilty to possessing the notes and trying to buy items with them.
Police Inspector Angelo Gafà prosecuted.
Lawyer Veronique Dalli appeared for Ms Agius.
