The ENVY of some MLP supporters for all that is about the PN has no limits. It's fine if they continue with this strategy, doing so they'll remain where you've been in the last 20 years. IN THE OPPOSITION !!

Well done Mrs. Gonzi for participating in such activity & doing so you gave A CHANCE to some people to make THEIR USUAL pathetic comments. If they talk about what's happening in their party right now, I'm afraid that their sense of humor will finish immediately !!

Try being innovative in this tiny rock of ours and one gets rained all over!
When was it last that a wife of a Prime Minister took the time to help out make a beach a little cleaner? No previous PM wives may have thought it was beneath them to do such a menial job?

Would be nice if beach cleaning be done on beach concessions not only on new permits but also beach umbrellas and sunbed concessions.

Let's go another step forward re the environment -
All those who have dogs and take them out in the mornings, midday, evenings to do their thing should pay an annual contribution , say 50Euro.flat rate or depending on the size of the dog - 'Who pollutes pays' + Register the dog + dog ID collar number.
The 'pick up the dog pu' system with the bags had no effect for many dog owners - especially around popular coastal tourist areas by the sea.
Going for a walk one ends up playing 'Passju'.
Some bags full of pu are thrown in the middle of the road for the cars to flatten . So much for discipline.
Some owners always go out and go back home with a clean bag - I think their dogs suffer from constipation, poor animals!
On another level - Why is it that some dog owners say they love!! ha! their dogs so much and yet leave them on the roofs to bark all day and all night frustrating neighbours. This is being purely egoistic towards residents and cruel with the animal.
As for Horses - can we do the same for these too - 'pick up the horse pu system'! - some horse owners do it - well done to them.
All local councils are expected to take action.
I am not against one having a dog as pet but for heaven's sake take full responsibility.

I presume that Mrs. Gonzi was invited, as is the practice, by the Richmond Foundation to particpate in this event. The presence of high profile personalities in such activities is meant to support the persons involved and increase public awareness on issue of public interest, which in this case is the clealiness of our beaches. Shouldn`t we all be saying "Thank you all of the Richmond Foundation and keep it up.
