PM's wife lends a hand in beach cleaning event

Kate Gonzi, the prime minister's wife, lent a hand today in a beach cleaning activity at Golden Bay organized by the Richmond Foundation as part of activities marking its 15th anniversary. Those present included Anthony E. Guillaumier, chairman of the Richmond Foundation, Pawlu Vella, Mayor of Mgarr, as well as representatives from Gaia Foundation, who help maintain the area. The beach clean-up followed a tree planting session at Ta' Qali National Park yesterday . Both activities were organized in connection with World Health Day.
