An 18-year-old female driver from St Andrews got an unpleasant jolt yesterday when a bus crashed into the back of her car while she was waiting for the traffic lights to change to green, the police said.

She escaped with slight injuries. Both drivers were treated for shock.

The accident occurred at about 1.30 p.m., in Labour Avenue, Paola.
