Mqabba win ground fireworks festival

The ground fireworks festival, held yesterday by Floriana local council, was won by Madonna tal-Gilju (Our Lady of the Lily) fireworks factory of Mqabba.

A total of 16 factories took part in the festival, which was held on the eve of the feast of St Publiius, celebrated in Floriana.

A large crowd attended.
