Curriculum: Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) is the use of a variety of communication tools to reach existing and prospective customers. It focuses on the synergistic role of advertising, sales promotions, direct and database marketing, Internet and interactive marketing, public relations and social media. A dissertation project will be undertaken during the summer.

Employment opportunities: The programme is intended for students who have experience in, or wish to pursue marketing careeers in brand management or as marketing communications managers or in advertising agencies, public relations firms, direct marketing organisations, the media and other related communications fields. It will also enable prospective managers to think creatively across traditional boundaries and activities in organisations, to develop stronger relations with customers and other audiences. These skills and new ways of thought will provide an important edge in an increasingly competitive job market.

Admission: Applicants must normally be graduates* with a second upper honours bachelor degree from a recognised institution graduates and must be proficient in English.

Deadline to apply: June 30th.

Commencing: September 2008.

Duration: 12 months full-time.

* Students who are expecting to complete their first degree this year may submit a provisional application prior to closing date.
