Vodafone makes mobile broadband easier

Vodafone Malta has announced that all new customers subscribing to the Vodafone 'Liberty' tariff will receive two months' free access and a free USB 'Plug & Play' modem.

The tariff provides customers with a 3G broadband connection, browsing speeds of up to 1.8 M/bits per second and five gigabytes in free downloads. On average, customers can send 3,250 text e-mails a month, browse the web for 150 hours a month, view 150 two-minute videos and download 300 music tracks a month. Vodafone's USB modem received the award for 'Business Innovation of the Year' at the 2007 Mobile Today Awards.

The offer is valid until May 18.

"Modern technology has provided us with the freedom of being connected from anywhere we wish with mobile broadband.

The Vodafone Plug & Play USB Modem is smaller than a PC card-based alternative and it connects to the computer over a 3G broadband network without the need to search for a WiFi hotspot," said Michael Darmanin, head of business at Vodafone Malta.

For more information call 247 from a Vodafone connection or 9999 9247 from any other phone.
