Accused of drug trafficking

A 23-year-old man was yesterday charged with trafficking in cocaine and being in possession of the drug on October 8, 2005.

Malcolm Vella, 23, from San Ġwann pleaded not guilty.

Police Inspector Norbert Ciappara prosecuted.

Lawyers José Herrera and Veronique Dalli appeared for Mr Vella.
