Former Juventus striker Fabrizio Miccoli has accused Luciano Moggi of marginalising him because he did not take his son on as his agent.
Former Juve general manager Luciano and his son Alessandro, head of the Gea World sports agency, are among six men on trial accused of fostering unfair competition through the use of threats or violence.
Miccoli, at Juve in 2003-04 and now with Palermo, said Luciano Moggi had stopped him wearing earrings when other players were still allowed to and that he had tried to make him sign for English club Portsmouth against his wishes.
"The only thing that I could think of to explain this hostility was the fact that I did not accept Alessandro Moggi as my agent," Miccoli told the Rome court yesterday.
England coach Fabio Capello was called as a witness on Monday but prosecutor Luca Palamara was unhappy with his answers and has threatened to charge him with withholding information.
