Twelve weeks from 19 have now been completed in the Middlesea League at the Eden SuperBowl, where Fina First still rule the roost, while Aercomms are doing all they can to keep the pace.

Both teams claimed all eight points from their respective opponents PharmaVet and The Clan last week, while there were similar 6-2 victories for Ramis over Inlusion, and Royal Shock over HSBC. The encounter between Globalair Travel and Turu's Knights ended in a draw.

Fina First stay eight points ahead of the field, thanks to their 8-0 hammering of PharmaVet, the latter dropping right down into the relegation zone after this result.

Fina were barely troubled by their opponents, taking game one by 61 pins (675-736) and then going 4-0 ahead with a 770-814 game two win. They rounded off the whitewash in style with a big 784-861 finisher.

Second-placed Aercomms took eight points at the expense of The Clan to stay in touch with rivals Fina, although the losing side were unlucky not to salvage at least two points from the clash.

Game one was a one-sided 682-847 affair, but then The Clan came close to levelling things in game two, which they narrowly missed out on with a 755-768 scoreline.

Game three proved even tighter with just seven pins separating the two sides, Aercomms clinching it 805-812 to make it 8-0 and also claiming the best team total of the week, 2,427 pins.
