Sponsored walk in aid of blast victims
The Naxxar local council, with the help of John Cilia, is organising a sponsored walk from Naxxar to Mellieħa in order to collect funds for the victims of the recent blast.
The walk will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. and participants are to meet in Triq Ħal Dgħejf, the street where the explosion killed two persons, demolished three houses and damaged others. Children under the age of 16 are to be accompanied. Registration is available at the local council by today.
