For the first time ever in our country the racial hatred incitement laws were applied last week to Imperium Europa's Norman Lowell. Although new to Malta, these laws have been around in western courts for quite a long time, and although I have always followed the issue with interest, I have not yet understood the true nature of these laws.
I can't understand how someone can interpret "racial hatred". Other laws are quite understandable, for example, it is uncomplicated to comprehend the laws on theft, murder, fraud, rape and other crimes. But racial hatred? The nature of language that these laws can be applicable to ranges from quotes like "Keep Malta for to Maltese" to "We need to halt illegal immigration". The slightest mention from an anti-immigration perspective can be condemned with jail, under racial hatred laws. The British National Party leader Nick Griffin was arrested on Christmas Eve of a few years ago under such laws for having claimed that the Muslim religion will threaten the British way of life. He was eventually acquitted.
Just last week, Udo Voigt, leader of the German National Democratic Party was charged under similar laws, for having questioned whether the German national football team should be represented by non-German footballers during the World Cup of 2006.
It is no coincidence that these laws made it to Malta when our country is in the middle of a process to transform itself in to a multi-racial state. The UK had initiated these laws when millions of third world immigration made it to its shore in the 1960s. The same happened to France, Holland, Australia and the US.
Multiracialism has been imposed in the mentioned countries illegally, without any mandate from the people. The same is happening in Malta. Those few who spoke with the voice of the majority, who questioned and protested the multiracial idea, are being silenced under the racial hatred laws, while those who propagate multiracialism have been given these laws as armour to fight those who dare question this idea of a multi-ethnic society.
These are illegal laws. They have been orchestrated as a ruthless method to accept multiracialism. There is jail waiting for those whose mind has not been twisted by the media, Hollywood, politicians and the Church into recognising and accepting multiracialism.
