Now that the election is over, one hopes that it will not take years for our courts to begin hearing the avalanche of libel cases instituted before the election. A lot of mud has been thrown about with the resultant damage to reputations and careers. It is the duty of the incoming Minister of Justice to see that those who have been slandered and defamed will have justice done without delay.
