Man suffers grievous injuries

A 21-year-old man of Birkirkara suffered grievous injuries yesterday but is not in danger of dying after he was involved in a road accident, the police said.

The man, who was driving a Peugeot along Valley Road, Msida, lost control of the car and hit an electricity pole.

A 24-year-old woman of San Ġwann, who was a passenger, escaped unhurt.
