Updated: Avoid Msida, motorists told

The police this morning asked motorists to avoid Msida as heavy rain, as usual ,flooded this low lying area, causing many cars to stall.

The flooding caused huge traffic jams and many people turned up late for work as a result, but no major incidents have been reported so far.

The weather is expected to remain wet for the next two days, although the rain is not expected to be so heavy.
