Kenenisa Bekele became the first man to win the world cross country championship long course title six times when he completed an emphatic victory on a tough Edinburgh course yesterday. Bekele tucked in behind Eritrean Zersenay Tadese, last year's winner, before blasting clear on the last lap to finish in 34 minutes, 38 seconds, ahead of Kenyan Leonard Patrick Komon with Tadese third. The victory completed a clean sweep of all four golds for Ethiopia after wins in the women's race and both junior events.
