Arsenal, down to 10 men for an hour, came back from two goals down to win 3-2 at Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League on Saturday.

Midfielder Matthew Taylor put Bolton two up but Arsenal, who had Abou Diaby sent off in the 31st minute for a high tackle, hit back with a William Gallas goal, a Robin van Persie penalty and a deflected shot by Cesc Fabregas in the dying seconds.

Arsenal leapfrogged Chelsea, who entertain Middlesbrough on Sunday, into second place, three points behind leaders Manchester United who host Aston Villa later on Saturday.

Derby County were relegated after a 2-2 draw at home to Fulham, Birmingham City's 3-1 win over Manchester City sealing the bottom team's fate. Portsmouth beat Wigan Athletic 2-0, Sunderland defeated West Ham United 2-1 and Reading drew 0-0 with Blackburn Rovers.
