Water and colour at Lija

Kenneth Zammit Tabona is exhibiting a selection of his works in watercolour at Villa Gourgion in Lija.

Entitled Water Through Which The Dream Flows..., the exhibition is open from Tuesday to April 19 and was made possible through the support of Bank of Valletta, Attard and Co. and the Gala Centre.

Mr Zammit Tabona's landscapes take a new twist as he explores textural colours, sometimes abandoning line in his work. The result is an abstraction of landscape that, although still recognisable, is the result of loose colour washes bound together with gentle water splashes and brushstrokes that resemble intricate filigree.

Villa Gourgion, host to Gallery G's exhibition halls, is situated at 4, Sir Ugo Mifsud Street, Lija and is open to the public between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the week and from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on Saturdays.
