Now that the political dust has settled and after the debate about who should be entitled to benefit from the Good Causes Fund, I would like to make a suggestion which I hope the Prime Minister would consider.

Since nobody seems capable of accepting responsibility, he should consider extending financial help to the Naxxar tragedy victims from the Good Causes Fund. I am convinced that all Maltese citizens agree that these unfortunate families had no say in what happened.

We can all pray for Sina Sammut to rest in peace.

But we must feel secure as citizens and be sure that should a similar tragedy happen (hopefully never again) the state will compensate victims in order to allow them to live the best they can.

Sorry is never enough! These families need cash. The Prime Minister should try his best.
