To meet the ever increasing interest for adaptable infrastructure, local software company Megabyte has recently organised a successful workshop at its operations centre at the Mosta Technopark.
This hands-on workshop focused on HP Blade Systems. It was well received by local IT professionals, that it had to be extended for a second day.
Attendees included IT managers and systems administrators from various businesses who were presented with the opportunity to experience first-hand the simplicity and manageability of the HP BladeSystem. This was achieved by the availability of a full rack of HP blades which were brought over for the purpose.
The HP BladeSystem is a next generation infrastructure for storage, servers and just about everything else. With its all-in-one design, organisations have the essentials to build, maintain and upgrade their infrastructure from start to finish. Inside, it can host a multitude of applications and with a combination of virtual machines, storage, integrity, StorageWorks and ProLiant servers and a variety of the most popular networking brands and standards.
An HP BladeSystem is simply a smarter way to build on infrastructure that supports the vital applications a business requires-with fewer wires, lower electric bills and none of the headaches from the choices of today.
Due to this success, Megabyte is receiving more requests to attend similar workshops, therefore it is planning to organise a similar workshop at beginning of May, the company revealed.
