Malta vs England bouts set for April 12

Punch Promotions, in association with Challenger Fitness Centre, will be organising a series of bouts involving local and English boxers next month.

Leading the Maltese charge at the Cottonera Sports Complex will be heavyweight Billy Corito. He has shown great progress since his last fight under the guidance of Scott Dixon and John Essex.

Corito takes on Davie Sheridan in the title fights on April 12. Sheridan has a fight record of five wins by way of KO and two losses.

Dixon will defend his middleweight title against Englishman David Kuczai who has a record of 10 wins, eight KOs.

Steve Aquilina will face a tough task when he takes on Dale Evans in a middleweight fight. Newcomer Reynald Tabone fights against Khalid Hughes and Carlos Bonello faces Dwain Allen Carlos among other bouts.

All boxers will undergo a strict medical and licence control by the Malta Boxing Board of Control.
