Two teenage boys were yesterday charged with stealing various items from four cars over a period of two months.
The two boys, one aged 17 and the other 15, both from Żabbar were charged with stealing a CD player, a subwoofer, an amplifier and a pair of speakers from a Skoda Felicia in Żabbar last January 17.
They were also charged with stealing a car battery from an Isuzu van, fuel from a Ford Escort and a Ford Anglia and part of a spoiler kit from a Toyota Tercell, which were parked at the Bulebel industrial estate in January.
They were further charged with stealing a stereo from a car last December 29 and causing damage amounting to over €466 (Lm200) to the cars.
The names cannot be published because of the boys' age.
Lawyers Kris Busietta and Nicole Vella were defence counsel.
