Driving down memory lane

My husband and I have recently enjoyed a couple of weeks' holiday in the lovely, peaceful and almost tranquil island that is Malta. During our visit, we started our daily ritual by reading the very informative The Times over a cappuccino at our favourite seaside café.

Walking to the Qawra bus station, we came across and visited the Classic Car Museum and were astounded by the awesome car collection on display. We have had the opportunity to visit similar museums during our travels, mainly across Europe, and must say the one in Qawra surpasses any of the ones we visited. We were also astounded by the pristine quality and the professional way these cars are displayed.

We found the time that we spent there to be a sentimental journey of our lives, as it connected us with our past. I am also sure that all visitors to this museum will be able to reminisce about their past, with some models on display reminding us of our childhood, and all the various models that were owned and driven by the various members of our family. I must thank the creators of this museum for giving us such a superb couple of hours full of nostalgia, and will certainly recommend this venue as "a must" to anyone who will be visiting Malta.
