Mepa hearings to resume
All meetings in public of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority Board and the Development Control Commissions shall resume as from Tuesday, April 1, the government said.
The sittings of the Planning Appeals Board will resume this week.
Sittings were suspended shortly after the general election.

Victor Laiviera: Suspending animation while the government fumbles around in its little bag of magic tricks didn't work for VAT removal. Why would it work for MEPA reform? Please don't rush back at me with a snide remark or a cute comment. It isn't practical or justifiable to shut down the operation of any institution - and all the legitimate activity that depends on it - simply to satisfy mindless critics that something is being done.
