Luggage wrapping at the airport

Some time ago my wife and I left Malta for London on KM100. We arrived at the airport at 6 a.m. hoping to wrap our luggage in plastic sheeting for security reasons prior to check-in. Very regrettably we found the kiosk offering such services closed.

We arrived at the airport at 6 a.m. hoping to wrap our luggage in plastic sheeting for security reasons prior to check-in.

Very regrettably we found the kiosk offering such services closed. This was not the first time we found it closed. The last time we found it open I had asked the attendant at what time the kiosk opened.

His reply was that it opened at 5 a.m. We decided to wait as we thought maybe he had gone on some errand. By this time four other passengers had arrived to make use of this service.

At about 6.20 a.m., seeing the queue for check-in growing longer, we all six passengers decided to go and check in.

I hope the person or authority responsible for the running of this kiosk displays the time the kiosk is open to the public and makes sure that the time shown is strictly adhered to.
