The Malta Aviation Museum in Ta' Qali is holding an open weekend from Saturday to March 31.

Visitors will be able to watch live historical re-enactments, the running of aircraft engines, follow guided tours around the museum and see the scale models and vintage aero clothing exhibition. A display of wartime vehicles will also be put up by the Military Vehicles Collectors Club.

Throughout this weekend, visitors will also have the opportunity to see the cockpit of a BAC 1-11 Airliner, get inside a DC-3 transport aircraft, and get a close look of the 15 historic aircraft, aircraft engines, scale models and memorabilia on display at the Malta Aviation Museum.

Refreshments will be available during the event. The entrance fee is €3.50 (Lm1.50) per person, and €1.16 (50c) for 10- to 16-year-olds.
