Four hundred primary school children aged five to eight from 12 schools recently enjoyed a fun-filled hands-on science learning experience at a four-day NSTF-MCST 'Little Scientists' Village', which was hosted at Playmobil Fun Park, Ħal Far.

Under the direction of Frieda Grima, science teachers from the Science Centre within the Department for Curriculum Management and E-learning, Pembroke, suitably dressed in costumes to help engage the childrens' imagination, co-ordinated and animated the activities aimed at teaching children principles such animal habitats, forces, balancing, materials, floating and load limits.

The activity will continue at the annual NSTF Science Week, to be held in early April at St James Cavalier, again in conjunction with the Science Centre.
