Leicester University Masters graduates from Malta

Fifteen students from Malta have just graduated from the University of Leicester after having attended various Malters degree courses run by the European Institute of Education (EIE), Ta' Xbiex, the local resource centre of university's Management School.

One of the students, Dr Stephanie Xuereb, who obtained an MBA with distinction, also won the Best Management MBA student prize for 2007. Five other students graduated with a Master of Business Administration: Simon Farrugia, Martin Spiteri, Stefania Conte, Kenneth Bonnici and Reuben Demicoli.

Peter Pace O'Shea obtained an M.Sc. in Educational Leadership; Silvia Sammut graduated with an MBA in Educational Management; Nicholas Vella and Nadia Scicluna were conferred an M.Sc. in Marketing; Graziella Gatt and Fiona Ciappara Cascun both gained an M.Sc. in Finance; Randall Cilia graduated with an M.Sc. in the Psychology of Work, while Christine Camilleri and Phelim Cavlan both obtained an M.Sc. in Occupational Psychology.

EIE president Antonello Cappitta accompanied the Maltese group to the graduation ceremony in Leicester and organised a celebration dinner for the graduates and their guests.
