Hilton Malta held a recruitment day today as it prepares to raise its staff complement by 150 ahead of an extension of the hotel which will be opened in the middle of next month.

The extension, by the Tumas Group, owners of the hotel, will push up capacity by 35 per cent to 404 rooms.

Some 80 rooms of a total of 110 in the extension will be available in April and the rest the following month.

The hotel recruitment mostly involves kitchen and housekeeping staff.
