Victor Said, 31, of Fgura was arraigned in court today and accused of the attempted murder of Louis Spiteri, 37, also of Fgura.

Said allegedly stabbed Spiteri following an argument in a bar in Zejtun last Tuesday.

Earlier, two men from Niger resident in St Paul's Bay were also arraigned in court and accused of raping and defiling a 13-year-old Maltese girl.

Jummah Mohammed Aka, 27 was accused of raping the girl last month in St Paul’s Bay while both

Mr Aka and another man, Abdallah Danganoma Omar, 21, were accused of defilement and of violent, indecent assault

Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna denied bail in both cases.
