My pet

The owner of our star pet for March is Maxine Bonello, 10, of Gudja

My pet's name is Maxus. He is a male, rottweiler dog. He has black with tan spots and has a small curled tail.

His favourite toy is a ball which bounces up and down. I think that the ball is his best companion! He enjoys it when we go on a picnic, as he plays all day long in the fields with me and my parents. Maxus's favourite food is Nutro Choice Large Breed. He also enjoys it when, every week, we give him a piece of meat and a chocolate bone. Although Maxus is five years old, he is like a little baby. He acts like it as he jumps up on the sofa and sleeps near me too!

Maxus is the best. Maxus is everything for me! He's my best friend.

My pet's name is Bender. He is a cat. Bender is a very intelligent cat. He likes to play with me and wakes me up with his paw in the morning.

Bender likes dried food and mackerel. When I do not take any notice of him, he meows to attract me. I treasure my cat Bender because he is precious.

My pet is a Russian dwarf hamster called Twitch. He came into my family when my and my sister's hamsters had seven babies together. He was one of them. He's rather fat and very cute and lives in a nice cage with his father, Philip. I love him a lot and he means the world to me. He has a dark stripe down his back and I got him a new cage for Christmas. He sometimes likes to play the rollover game with his also fat father. He has a little sister called May and a mum called Cheeky.
