Man found dead at beach
The police last night established the identity of a man who was found dead at Exiles beach in Sliema, yesterday.
The 66-year-old man who hailed from St Julians was found in the sea at about 1.10 p.m., close to the shore, the police said. He was certified dead on site.
There were no signs of external violence and no foul play is suspected but the cause of death has yet to be established.
Duty Magistrate Antonio Mizzi was informed and appointed court experts to help him in the inquiry.
