Crucial time for MLP (2)

If people really did opt out of voting for the promised New Beginning under Labour for up to a measly €300 as alleged by Labour MP Anġlu Farrugia, then I think they could not have given much credence to his party's electoral manifesto translating into anything economically more meaningful to them!

It's high time Labour stop coming up with such nonsense, which only boomerangs on them time and again, and instead wholeheartedly devote their brains and energy, in that order, to appointing a convincing new leader adapted to Malta's present realities as an economically and educationally advancing nation.

Hopefully Jason Micallef's shocking performance on last Friday's Xarabank is not a harbinger of further years lost in the wilderness for Labour.

It is in the supreme national interest that Labour gets it right this time round. In this, the Labour delegates who will be voting in new blood shoulder an enormous responsibility.
