Three men were granted bail this morning after being arraigned in court over two incidents.

Leslie Galea, 43, of Zebbug was granted bail against a deposit of €600 euro and a personal guarantee of €3,000 after he pleaded not guilty to seriously injuring a man on Sunday afternoon in Birzebbugia. He also pleaded not guilty to trespassing, threatening and insulting the man and breaching public order.

In the second case, Joseph Galea, 30, Zebbug and Joseph Schembri , 40, of Luqa, pleaded not guilty to injuring two men at the horse races on Sunday afternoon. They were granted bail against a deposit of €500 each and a personal gaurantee of €3,000 each.
