All members of academic, administrative, technical and industrial staff are invited to attend a series of two-hour training sessions on the University's purchasing system including guidance on the whole process of selecting quotations, issuing purchase orders, invoicing, and record keeping.
The training is being organised as from this month by the Office for Human Resources Management and Development, in conjunction with the Finance Office, and attendance will be limited to six persons each session to enable participants to take an active 'hands-on' role and work on sample material both individually and in groups.
