The Foundation for Human Resources Development in partnership with the Institute of Health and Safety, is holding a course on writing a health and safety policy course on March 25, between 9 a.m. and noon, at the FHRD premises at 1 Triq il-Kampanella, San Gwann. Chris Hudson will conduct the course.

The course examines the purpose of a health and safety policy within an overall management system and explores ways in which these policies can be developed into meaningful, useful documents.

The course will include management systems and the role of policy; making the policy meaningful; management commitment; sections of the policy; statement, organisation, arrangements; dev-eloping content; policy as a control document; communicating the policy and induction sessions.

Business people and managers attempting to write a health and safety policy are invited to attend.
