Frank Salt Real Estate at six property exhibitions over six weeks

This year, Frank Salt Real Estate is investing greatly to promote Malta overseas, from advertising in foreign newspapers and magazines to property exhibitions abroad.

Frank Salt Real Estate has also been present in several countries and participated in six international property exhibitions in a bid to increase public awareness of the Maltese Islands and promoting Malta as an ideal place where to purchase property.

The targeted countries include mainland Europe, the UK, Scandinavian countries, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. More property exhibitions are lined up for the coming months.

Frank Salt has always been at the forefront where the foreign buyer is concerned, attracting over 500 potential buyers a year. "The way the market is going makes an increase in international exposure a must," managing director Joe Lupi said.

"Globalisation, weather changes, ease of travel and increased economic activity are prompting more and more foreigners to consider buying property beyond their borders, either as a holiday home, as an investment or as a new residence. And this is an ever-increasing opportunity for Malta."

Chairman Frank Salt agrees: "It doesn't take an Einstein to realise that many Maltese have already purchased their homes and property investments.

This means that the current property market will carry on being healthy as long as the number of new developments do not greatly outnumber potential purchasers.

"In addition, we need to aggressively market these developments together with other property abroad to find new purchasers.

This will ensure a continuous healthy and prosperous property market, plenty of overseas publicity for our Islands, with the resulting visits spending long or short periods of time in Malta."
